Built on two decades of financial leadership and deep West African roots.
Our Firm
PierrePointe Partners is a boutique strategic advisory firm operating at the intersection of institutional financial leadership and West African market expertise.
We work with a small number of clients at any given time — deliberately. Depth over breadth. Every engagement receives the full attention of the principal.
Our US practice serves PE-backed and growth-stage companies that need CFO-level financial leadership and M&A capability without the full-time cost. Our West Africa practice serves diaspora investors, regional growth businesses, and the development finance institutions deploying capital into the Mano River Union and greater West Africa region.
Leadership
Mohammed Samba Sow
Founder & Managing Partner,
PierrePointe Partners
Mohammed Samba Sow founded PierrePointe Partners on a simple conviction: that the quality of financial leadership at critical decision points determines outcomes more than almost anything else.
Over a 20-year career, Mohammed has served as CFO and strategic financial advisor inside multi-billion-dollar enterprises, private equity–backed businesses, and high-growth companies navigating scale, capital transitions, and operational inflection points. His work has included leading finance transformations, doubling EBITDA margins, and helping position multiple businesses for successful exits — including a PE-backed transaction that surpassed the billion-dollar mark.
The firm's West Africa practice draws on something no credential confers: being from there. Born in Liberia, raised in Sierra Leone, with deep family roots in Guinea, Mohammed brings PE-grade financial discipline to a region where diaspora capital flows in with genuine intention and too often disappears into broken execution. PierrePointe exists to change that outcome.
Two worlds. One standard.

Our Values
Precision
We build financial systems and reporting that stand up to institutional scrutiny. No approximations. No comfortable rounding. Clarity over complexity, every time.
Accountability
Sound decisions don't fail from lack of effort. They fail because assumptions go untested and risks surface too late. We take ownership of outcomes — not just deliverables — and we say so when the work isn't moving the needle.
Trust
Trust is the scarcest resource. We don't claim it. We demonstrate it — through transparency over optimism, and judgment over volume, at every critical moment.
